QRIS, or Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard, is the national QR code standard for facilitating QR code payments in Indonesia. It was launched by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) on August 17, 2019. Infinite QRIS consists of two types: Static QRIS and Dynamic QRIS.
Infinite QRIS Static is a QR Code-based payment solution that contains a fixed Merchant ID. This QR Code is displayed as a sticker or print-out. Customers input the transaction amount directly through their mobile device, offering flexibility and ease of use. This solution is ideal for various types of businesses, as it does not require periodic code updates, making it practical and efficient.
Infinite Dynamic QRIS is a QR Code generated in real time during a transaction via POS or Self Order software, with a unique code for each transaction. The transaction amount is automatically generated by the POS software, eliminating the need for customers to input manually. The Dynamic QR Code can be displayed via POS applications, printed on EDC receipts, or shown on kiosk monitors. This is perfect for businesses such as restaurants, cafes, bakeries, food trucks, kiosks/stands, franchises, and barber shops.
Infinite QRIS Static allows for faster and more secure transactions, as customers can directly input the payment amount using their own mobile device. Its flexible format allows it to be printed as a sticker or other forms, making it suitable for a wide range of businesses—from small shops to large outlets—while offering convenience through contactless payment.
The dynamic QRIS QR Code that appears during payment is automatically generated by POS or Self Order software and contains a unique transaction amount for each payment. This QR Code already includes the payment amount and is ready to be scanned by the customer.
